Up until the late 1940's, the Klan used the American flag. Using the logic that we should promptly abandon all flags and symbols which are hijacked for hateful purposes, all American flags should immediately be collected and destroyed, even though it is the flag of the United States, and only patriotic Americans have the right to interpret its meaning.
