Abe Lincoln earned the title of war criminal by invading a sovereign nation (The Confederate States Of America).
The fact that Lincoln and the federal government used SLAVE LABOR as late as December of 1863 to build the capitol building in Washington D.C. should be taught in every history class to offset the lie that Lincoln was a foe of slavery. This was all going on even after passage of the Washington DC Emancipation Act in April of 1862 and the announcement of the Emancipation Proclamation in September of 1862. Why didn't Lincoln liberate these slaves before he turned to the South if his motive was to end slavery as our adversaries claim?
